The GOP presidential candidates debate in Iowa tonight. Let’s see how each is doing in the current national polling.

Today I heard the phrase “Romney’s fragile hold” on first place. The Romney trend line, the rapid rise of Perry, and the rapid rise and then fall of Bachman and Cain certainly suggest the voters are looking for alternatives, giving them a thought, then moving on.

The Huntsman, Pawlenty and Santorum  campaigns must also want to do something to get up off the deck.
